Chưa bao giờ người ta nghĩ đến việc dùng sơn để sơn lên các loại đồ ăn vì nó có hại cho sức khỏe. Nhưng giờ đây, điều đó là có thật khi loại sơn có tên “Food Finish” được tạo ra để sơn lên các loại thức ăn.

Loại sơn “Food Finish” được sản xuất bởi công ty The Deli Garage ở Đức. Đây là loại sơn đầu tiên trên thế giới có thể ăn được.

Nhà sản xuất The Deli Garage cho biết loại sơn hóa học A-tê-non có đặc điểm không mùi, không vị và có thể dùng để xịt lên các loại thực phẩm nhằm làm cho món ăn độc đáo hơn, dĩ nhiên là loại sơn này không độc hại đến sức khỏe con người.  Hiện sơn “Food Finish” có 4 màu cho khách hàng lựa chọn gồm các màu: vàng, bạc, xanh da trời và đỏ.

“Food Finish” ở dạng dung dịch lỏng dùng để xịt lên các món ăn nhằm biến món ăn thành các màu giống như kim loại. Một số nhà hàng đã dùng loại sơn này xịt lên thức ăn khiến nhiều thực khách không khỏi ngạc nhiên và thích thú.
Hiện sơn “Food Finish” đã được bán nhiều tại các cửa hàng ở Đức và một số nước. Giá bán một lọ sơn thực phẩm như vậy là 32 USD (hơn 600 nghìn VND)

Edible spray paint makes even bland food look yummier – and geekier, if we might add. How else would you explain golden strawberries or silver chicken or even blue carrots?

It’s sparkly, to say the least – and gives moms the option of jazzing up healthy but bland-looking food with a layer of edible metallic colour to entice their young ones to bite into the healthy stuff.

The paint, produced by the Deli Garage, is called Food Finish, and is branded EssLack. It comes in gold, silver, red and blue and can be bought online for €24.80 (Dh116.50).

He Deli Garage says it developed Food Finish with a small food manufacturer that provides top-quality food colouring to upmarket pastry and cake shops. “The new innovation is the spray can. And that’s exactly what makes refining your culinary creations so very easy,” the site suggests.

Food Finish will chrome-plate and gold-coat anything in the kitchen that comes under its nozzle – from summer strawberries to the Christmas goose. And with two new colours, you’ll have your food blushing red and moody blue in a jiffy. Food Finish is completely neutral in taste and harmless to eat, it insists.
